DASAN V5972 VDSL DSLAM, 10-Slot chassis architecture, is designed
to be equipped with various types of networking interfaces depending
on the user's network environment. For 1-Slot Fabric and Management
interface, V5972 provides pluggable Fabric & MGMT board
with 3-Slot uplink interfaces which can be selectively equipped
among 10/100 Base-TX, 100 Base-FX, or 1000 Base-X GBIC. V5972
9-Slot service interfaces can be equipped with VDSL interface
and Ethernet interface. For the 8-Port/Slot VDSL service interface,
V5972 presents DMT VDSL Board (52.0/11.0 Mbps), Asym. QAM VDSL
Board (24.0/8.0 Mbps) and Sym. QAM VDSL Board (13.0/13.0 Mbps).
And for the 8-Port/Slot Ethernet service interface, 2-Port 100
Base-FX + 6-Port 10/100 Base-TX hybrid board is provided. DASAN
V5972 VDSL DSLAM presents both DMT-CPE or QAM-CPE depends on
VDSL service interface, respectively.
V5972 VDSL DSLAM supports standard layer 2 switching protocols
with switching capacity of 19.0 Gbps and throughput of 15.2
Mpps. Versatile networking functions such as VLAN, QoS, Multicast,
packet filtering and NBT(NetBIOS/NetBIEU) filtering create secured
and flexible inter-networking condition. Also, V5972 VDSL DSLAM
realizes ADSL & T-LAN Friendly Mode to prevent unexpected
collision with ADSL or T-LAN service over the same telephone
line.
With easy-to-configure & install architecture, V5972 VDSL
DSLAM saves operating and management expenses and creates cost-effective
broadband network.
