AM2048 (64kbps to 2Mbps)

The AM2048 Family provides broadband data transmission solutions for network operators and businesses. The AM2048 can be used to deliver E1 services to Small to Medium Enterprises (SME) or to Small Office/Home Office (SoHo) customers. The AM2048 provides a reliable means of extending the bandwidth of the backbone network to the CPE. The AM2048 Family offers the option to transmit 2Mbps data over either copper or fibre, delivering a flexible solution for the provision of new revenue generating services.

The DSL version of the AM2048 offers an excellent operating range over a single copper pair using G.SHDSL (TC-PAM) line coding, with the option of two pair working for an even greater operating range.
